Phil is a physical therapist, athletic trainer, and certified strength & conditioning specialist. He is a full Professor and Research Director in the Physical Therapy program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from LSU in Physical Therapy and received his master's degree in Exercise Physiology from Mississippi State University, and a PhD in Kinesiology from LSU. With over 30 years of sports medicine experience, he was named a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and was recently inducted into the Sports Physical Therapy Hall of Fame.
