Robert Mangine serves as a Senior Associate Athletic Director of Sports Medicine for the Department of Athletics and Men’s and Women’s Golf Athletic Trainer. He is also the Director of Sports PT Residency for NovaCare Rehabilitation/University of Cincinnati athletics. Bob has served as the head football Athletic Trainer, head basketball Athletic Trainer, Healthcare Administrator, and Director of Sports Medicine at various times since his return to the University in 2002. Since graduating from the University of Pittsburgh in 1977, Bob has participated in both clinical, academic, research, and athletics positions. Bob has participated in or presented at over 550 continuing education courses nationwide and internationally since 1978. He has published more than 61 articles, and several books on rehabilitation. From 1979 to 2004 Bob Served at Chairman or Co-Chairman for United States Diving Association, and from 1983 to 1990 as Co-Chairman for the United States Soccer Federation. In 1996, Bob was selected as the head trainer of aquatic sports for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, as well as appointed head aquatic trainer for the Goodwill Games in Moscow Russia 1986, Atlanta 1990 and New York 1998.
